A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY JOURNEY INTO DESIGN.

I've always been fuelled by a curiosity for the world around me, a trait that's always been instilled by my parents, with my dad being English and my mom Colombian, and further exposing my sister and me to a childhood of different cultures, having grown up split between the Philippines and Hong Kong. I've always sought a career that keeps exposing me to new experiences and makes me see ideas in different ways.
 

My eagerness to learn hasn't exactly taken me on the most linear path, but leading a career knowing I want to understand different people and subjects has led me down various paths, from studying philosophy and archaeology at UCL, to nurturing my artistic side through painting, digital collaging, and sketching. However, it was my experience in sociable roles like hospitality and personal assistance that really taught me to be observant and understanding.
 

Product design feels like the space suited for my background, where curiosity about others, creativity, and tech come together. It's given me a space to tackle engaging problems. As a product designer, I try to approach challenges with a playful spirit, blending insights from various disciplines to craft solutions that work for the people using them.
